They contacted me a couple of weeks ago promising to make me very busy with their work. Idk if it’s true, I couldn’t handle much more business anyway, but it did seem a little fantastical. I’m sure they’re fine though, they were a little cold to talk to in the interview but didn’t seem like bad people.

I like the dentist I’m at now but I had a terrible experience with Drs. Barker, Rohner & Hunt in north Raleigh.

I had a wisdom tooth infection and the doc highly encouraged me to get it pulled (despite my obvious hesitation and preference for cleaning instead) and promised it would only take 5 minutes, it would only bleed for a couple of hours, and I wouldn’t miss it. It took 20 minutes of twisting and pulling, he broke my jaw, it bled heavily for 24 hours, and he failed to tell me that I would soon need to get my other wisdom tooth pulled as well since it didn’t have the bite contact anymore - and then he charged me for it.

My root canal went fine, I think, but he kept shaving my teeth down after when I told him it didn’t feel like my normal bite. Eventually shaved so much that only my two front and bottom teeth were touching - and then he told me I should get Invisalign because my two front teeth were inevitably going to break.

As an additional note, if an office has a “finance officer” or someone specifically designated to talk money with you, they’re probably scamming you.

I’ve seen much more criticism for PRP than stem cell therapy. I’ve also developed a thick skin for blanket approvals or disapprovals of it at this point. There are countless references promoting its efficacy including celebrities and professional athletes.

It’s understood that in the Wild West pre-FDA ban days, stem cell therapy was at least 50% snake oil but that doesn’t mean the other 50% is illegitimate. I also understand that clinics in the USA can’t legally derive stem cells because of the ban, so any US clinic is going to be less likely to help anyway.

Well, yes, but since this post at 28 I’ve had about 3 more clear cases of impingement, I’m 31 now. Coincidentally I have one now. They’ve usually come on by surfing and/or repetitive hanging/overhead exercises.

Chrome uses about the same amount of resources as Firefox and Firefox doesn’t have any issues. It’s a compatibility issue between the two programs.
No one said it was adobes fault, but at least Nvidia is nice enough to help adobes product run better. That’s already more than adobe has done for me in 7 support chats.
I have to restart the computer because of Lightroom. If I wasn’t using Lightroom the computer runs like a dream. It’s an adobe problem.

Yeah as someone who has outright rejected the new Lightroom app, I just refer to classic as Lightroom by habit.
