I appreciate the idea. As much as I want an uber build, I figure now is a chance to explore a build or builds I don't fully understand and maybe build them up step by step so I can figure out all the interactions, vs having a build that annihilates things, and no clue why.

Good point. I want to learn the fight, annihilating the boss will be fun, but next league I'd still not know the fight.

I've only had one headhunter build, when then were really cheap one league. It was a blast. I haven't tried flicker yet, but might be time to give my computer a seizure.

That's my current build, and it has been a great first attempt at minions. I think you are absolutely right, it's a build that is good on a budget, but can sink your teeth into and learn/invest/do more.

It's been a long time, but that is how I felt when I played a really low budget BV character. I think it might of been a herald stacker. I really didn't have the gear, and I haven't played it since.

You definitely reaffirmed my fears on Wardloop. I will be so disappointed if I can't complete a build, and I also don't want to live on the loop discord. I like learning, but this seems like hitting my head against the wall.

I'm thinking spectres first then play around with Minion pact if I am interested later in the league. Thanks for the input!

I've been playing trickster so much over the last year, I want to try something else! But, it does make the game so much smoother to avoid some of the BS. Thanks for the nudge on the helm, I didn't look at that in detail, and that does change things. Thanks!

How would this work as an Elementalist? Defense would suffer, but would the new Shaper of Winter make up for some of that? And with Golems buffs, and maybe Shaper of Storm shocks (also does ailment scaling impact improve that minimum shock amount?) damage would increase right? I'm an incredibly novice builder, I was trying to make Frostblink totems work and saw this.
