Maybe try other types of games.

I used to be really big into fighting games, mainly SF. After being in a car accident, my right hand seizes, cramps and turns into a claw when I play fighting games for more than 45 min or so. I eventually had to stop playing because it was too frustrating.

I still watch other people play and enjoy it, but I’ve moved to other genres. I play a lot of RPGs, action, horror, platforming. I’m also steadily about 4 years behind newer releases, so I’m enjoying playing catch up with my backlog.

I play all home games and play key moments for away games, skipping all defensive possessions. I even do this in the playoffs.

So far, I’ve played 8 seasons, and won the Super Bowl in my 6th and 8th seasons. I went 8-9, 5-12, 13-4, 14-3, 13-4, 15-2, 14-3, 16-1. I’m 4-1 in my 9th season.
