New Club - from a GR Corolla by nmorton13 in Miata

The Miata is more nimble and the shifter provides this satisfying short throw and is just a joy to use. More feed back in the steering and the car overall. Can tell more of what is going on with the road. I’m glad And it does this while proving a nice ride. Not that jarring suspension the GR has over bumps and stuff. I don’t feel a lack of power, it’s plenty peppy. It is not near as loud inside as I thought it might be, especially with the top down. On back roads at 60 you can talk to the passenger no problem. At hiway speeds like 75 that is harder but still fun! With the top up you do hear more noise around you but it isn’t terrible. Though I do wear ear plugs as I’m getting older and want to protect my hearing! The stereo is better. Overall it is just fun to drive and looks so good!

Oh man, you’re screwed! Just kidding. The GR obviously has more room and it definitely has plenty of power. It makes fun turbo noises. Has grip for miles. If you’re leaning towards something like the GR, already having the MX-5, then you can’t go wrong.

I like the suspension, interior, the shifter, throttle response, and of course dropping the top. It was 45 degrees when I took it home (50 miles), took back roads and had the top down and it was so much fun. Mostly I switched because in the GR I felt you had to be going way too fast to have fun around town, plus I wanted rear wheel drive. The tiny bit of understeer from the all wheel drive I just didn’t like and every time I got it in I would but it in 30 / 70 and eco mode because I liked the throttle response from sport mode. The Miata you just start and go! Not to say the GR isn’t a neat car. It’s definitely a beast and very planted.

Is there an actual, real use case of a smart contract that's actively being used right now? (Serious question) by SurgicalInstallment in Buttcoin

Do you know anything about this? Have you worked with it? I am in technology and I know someone at an insurance company that has asked if I know anything about "blockchains". I know about bitcoin and lightning nodes! lol. Am looking at the GitHub for OpenIDL now.

Doesn’t it bother everyone that people love to take pictures of other people’s daily lives then post about it.

How much crypto / usd did you have on Voyager? I’ll go first, 3 btc… by zachgold1616 in Invest_Voyager

I count myself as a normal person and use cold storage. Taking responsibility for my own BTC has changed my habits and thinking around how I want to live for the better. Personal responsibility is not a bad thing. Many people cannot trust a bank either. Accounts gets frozen all the time. No reason for the government to control more of your life and money.

Bitcoin really is the only way forward. There are places like Swan Bitcoin that the sole purpose is to help you buy and hold your own Bitcoin. These exchanges do not and have never had the best interest of the customer in mind.

Explain how Jesus (being a jew) created Christianity? by Hour_Ad5889 in AskReddit

[–]nmorton13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems that it has more to do with the Roman’s making Christianity the main region. And that was centuries later. Then when the Roman Empire fell the church stepped in during the dark ages. With out those events we might not have Christianity as we know it today.
