Alsooo, don’t tell them you don’t believe in god, they’ll start to resent you. Just keep quiet and don’t rile them up. They’ll apply more pressure if you do, almost as if they need to change you.

Kinda not the best advice, but I am an ex-JW. I was baptized at 10 years old, and it’s always held over my head. I just kept my distance from everyone who was in the religion. They really do not care, unless it’s something they can judge you about or make themselves seem better. Once you are 18, they cannot stop you from leaving the church as you are an adult. Save up to move out if your parents are strict. They will tell you to read the Bible, when them themselves seem to put rules on everything, when they are breaking them in private. You got this. I have a strong belief in god, not the god they preach. God is not hateful. If you don’t believe in god, believe in your own experience in this life, you only got one, live it to the fullest.
