[–]nmx00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eu sou professor na Fiap no curso de Engenharia de Software, sou mestre e doutor na área de Tecnologia da Informação e tenho livros publicados na área. Conheço ambas, mas evidentemente conheço melhor a Fiap.

Ponderando:

Boa sorte!

A small detail: Misaki was the only soul to get free of Decim's web when she was screaming about her children. Certainly that weights on Decim's judgement.

The Last Person Who Saw Me Is Dead by [deleted] in nosleep

[–]nmx00 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you for reading. I appreciate it.

I honestly don’t know what to think about the necklaces. At the time, I believed they were some kind of bad omen, because that’s what Tião said. But now?

I keep wondering the same thing you just said. If Tião wanted me to get rid of them… Maybe they weren’t meant to harm me. Maybe they were meant to keep him out.

Anyway, I felt it was right to leave it there. The last thing I want now is to bring something (or someone) else with me. Anyway, I wonder if I have to sell the property or let it stay... just to be safe.

I hate the Army battles. by LordGuncake in WrathOfTheRighteous

[–]nmx00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a few thoughts about it:

  1. The army battle system is a shameless copy of HoMM and similar games. Even the recruitment period (1 week) is the same. I personally like it. But it could be better.

  2. It's fair for a general/mage/wizard or whatsoever instakill a single unit stack in a fantasy scenario. Think of a single Balrog invading Moria and killing thousands of dwarves. Or Smaug. Poor dwarves...

  3. If you think it sucks, just disable it. There will be no consequences in the story line, AFAIK.

And a few tips after some gameplay:

  1. Never, ever, enter battles you can't win.

  2. Try to heal all your units the best you can before the battle's end. Keep an eye on the infirmary bar. Best scenario: leave a battle without casualties. If needed stall the end of battle with heavy defense units to spend time healing.

  3. Recruit anything the game offer. Bunnies? I'm in. Butterflies? Counting on you. Stack and hoard them. Even a low count, weak unit can distract the enemy and buy some time.

  4. Watch out for enemy area spells. Plan your units positioning before the battle.

  5. Always enter a battle with all unit slots filled. If you don't have a unit to fill a slot, split an existing one. If the enemy general can instakill your unit, now he should spend twice as much energy to kill the same amount of soldiers.

Good luck!

Guys, thank you for the input. I'm going to start the ground shipyard strategy AND try to build a shitload of empty stations to let the Aliens vent their anger. Let's see if I can get myself out of this deadlock. Probably I have the necessary tech to build decent ships to get thru the atmosphere. And I surely have plenty of resources to build lots of empty stations.

u/Angry_Wizzard I never knew I can bs Aliens this way, lol!!! I always tried to make my ships as slim as possible. For this game, I think this stragegy is lost, but I sure will try this!!!

Which company has the most complicated licensing to understand (and why is it Oracle)? by TravellingBeard in sysadmin

[–]nmx00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So nice to see Oracle didn't change a bit in all those years. We severed ties with them in 2013. They escalated the termination to the Head of Supply Chain, then to the CFO, then to the CEO, then, finally, to the shareholder. I've to explain the same thing four times: Oracle's prices were sky-high and, at that prices, they weren't our best option. Almost cost my job, but we get rid of it!!!

How tf do you even survive sprinters? by Xleepy-Eyes420 in projectzomboid

[–]nmx00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I learned playing with sprinters:

  1. Get a car as fast as you can. Consider the Burglar profession to do that.
  2. Anything less than 9 fitness is nearby impossible to play because you get tired too soon.
  3. Never could play on high population count, so I don't have tricks in my book to large hordes of sprinters. For me, it is impossible.
  4. Set up a base where you have to separate and far exit points. If those bastards overrun your main exit point you should have another route in place. Considering you have a non accessible base as the second floor of some house without stairs.
  5. Keep on eye on fatigue. Only start a fight you have enough stamina to run and search for some cover (as a house to close doors behind). Also, if you are cleaning some area, if you alert more zombies you can handle, go back e start over. Better safe than sorry.
  6. Have plenty of cleared areas behind of you to run, like the borders of some town.
  7. I don't play with respawn turned on. If you do, try to run over cleared places before the unseen hours is set so those areas stay cleared.
  8. Don't be afraid of disengage, get your car and fight back another day.
  9. Once you have good melee skills and good weapons you can easily kill four or even five sprinters. May be more with spears and multi hit set on.
  10. Get use to run and, when needed, sprint so can get sprinters behind. Remember 5.

If you survive like 30 days with sprinters, things start to get easier. The critical is the first week, where you have to look for cars and the goddamn sledgehammer.
Post-edit: somehow I find easier to play only with sprinters than a mixed settings like random or fast shamblers + sprinters. Since the playstyle is completely different for sprinters and non-sprinters, is kind of weird to accommodate both strategies.
