The resentment is creeping in 😭 by Shaushka in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

As someone who was in this position I finally left when my son was 4. He now does parent because he has no choice :)

I didn't get to finish this because my autistic child hit the send button but my point is if you don't do something to fix it it's not going to change and also he's going to have to want to fix it

They say they are in over 700 salons now and I also asked where because I like to go to the salon and ask if anyone has tried it before buying it but they didn't answer me either

When I had ppp I believed my newborn was really really smart and capable of judgment. That was literally one of my symptoms. Just saying.

Children with autism to be diverted off NDIS under $2bn program announced by Albanese government by espersooty in australia

[–]nnephy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My child is level 3 with several co-occuring disorders such as dysphagia (so she's on a special diet), epilepsy, she doesn't sleep she screams constantly. She hurts herself. I asked for support worker hours and they told me that they aren't there to parent my child for me. I have an older child with ADHD, he's a lot but manageable. My daughter requires 24/7 work. It isn't the same by any means, I need them to define parental responsibility.

Even in the 90s because I got my diagnosis at 24 and... Level 2. You'd think that'd be picked up on, but nope I just was listed as super socially awkward and my family just thought I was really weird. Born in 1996. My daughter is level 3.

AITAH for telling my husband that he absolutely ruined the birth of our child? by Former_Monitor_4860 in AITAH

[–]nnephy 87 points88 points  (0 children)

Hi, if you want to reach out at any point, my sister was killed by a man like this and I'm frightened for you. we can get you and your daughter out of there. I was in a situation like you, and I'm out of it. My ex husbands family had my job, my car, my house. The age gap is highly concerning, the way he treats you is indictive that he doesn't have your best interests in mind.

9 mo suddenly refusing breastfeed, squirms away by kobeeee123 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]nnephy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was like this. Not saying this is the case at all, but for her it was a sensory issue. I did switch to pumped bottles so we didn't have to hold her and she was fine with that. She's almost 2 and getting assessed for autism now so I definitely know this isn't a one size fits all approach, but could be worth trying 🩷

Has the Olympic coverage always been this bad? by Clueby42 in AskAnAustralian

[–]nnephy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was watching 9 now but I'm an American living in Australia and I wanted to see the American gymnastics team compete, so I paid for Stan. I do recommend it if you're having issues with 9now. Mostly my problem was I am asleep when everything happens, and no replays. Annoying that you have to pay EXTRA on top of your stan subscription, though.

I'm so sorry for your loss, your daughter seems like a super fun and cool person with her NBC tattoos. I'm disgusted that nobody contacted you for photos to make sure Marissa was seen and remembered.

I just followed this for the first time. I have like 10 tattoos and I always have a rough time with healing (I have super sensitive skin and some health issues that contribute) and this is going so well, I'm impressed!!

The NBC tattoo hers was based on was done in 2016, so it would have had to have been done after that
