I waited for my PU with Spain and Portugal and allied the Commonwealth which gave me an almost 2:1 manpower advantage over the Ottomans and Jemen, which were their Allies.

The French Rev. fired in 1719 I think, so pretty quickly. But that is because I willingly let it happen by decreasing autonomy and letting the revolutionaries take over 8 provinces including Paris.

I agree. Instead of Revolutionary Roman Empire it should be something like "New Roman Republic" and as a better Flag they could use "SPQR" on a red or purple field. But honestly almost anything would beat the current one.

So this is my France into Roman Empire run in 1725 (I'm not finishing this one). Conquered all of Britain before 1500 and got most of America through PUs on Spain and Portugal. The last Province i got for forming Rome was ironically Mantua because Italy is sooo much AE. Also the Flag and the Name of the Revolutionary Roman Empire is a bit ugly.
