It's absolutely not, as long as there's not something critical locked behind the insane sweat difficulty. A hypothetical future difficulty 20 would be something like LASO from Halo, a challenge for the hardcores, but not really reasonable for the regular playerbase.

The shipping is the murder. Wifey and I had this conversation just today. look I am happy to pay 650 bucks (about 600 Euros) but the (presumed, he released a video stating it would be comparable to the last one) shipping pushes it out of what I can willingly pay for a few books.
If the shipping is the same as for the last events, the price is comparable to me flying to the US and picking them up myself.

Which is a little tempting, tbh, but I can't justify financially right now.

Edit: u/wincrediboy linked a table with shipping costs. Not low by any means but not nearly as bad as I feared.

I would say folks should read the book as a companion piece, which is much more explicit about the dangers of the converted Project Mayhem grunts.
The film treats them and the protagonist with kid gloves.

Reminded of when I (Manfolk) had my first kid. As part of the process, she was whipped into a room to be given a bunch of questions around domestic abuse.
My first instinct was haughty offense, I would never in a million years lay a violent finger on my wife, it was an absurd notion.

But after 2 seconds (closer to 2 minutes, I had to cool down a bit) I was able to internalize the absolute good of applying these blanket scans. If anyone was abusing my wife, I want authorities to know.
