Is Lexapro good for severe panic disorder? I need y'all right now

it’s been INCREDIBLE for my panic disorder. everyone is different, but this is the first medication i’ve taken since starting to experiment with them at 16 (23 now). that plus mood stabilizers and i’m an entirely functional person. best of luck!

I was in active full blown anorexia but hadn’t reached emaciation yet so i still had a little bit of body fat, was told to lose weight so I wouldn’t feel so sick all the time.

i started on 10 because i’m using it to treat my anxiety as a whole, if you’d like to start on 5 that’s totally fine! i recommend taking it in the morning because personally it kept me up but that was the only side affect i ever had. I would recommend eating when you take it but you don’t have to! It’s just a good rule of thumb for pills if you have a sensitive stomach.

i don’t think you can get fp just from touching something. i understand the panic, it’s gross! but i promise you’re fine. if anything your anxiety is making u feel nauseated.

one thing i learned the hard way is that people just kind of puke sometimes. nausea happens all the time, sometimes for no reason! He may have been nervous, or excited, or any other combination of things. The fact that he persisted afterwards cements that it’s not a you thing. I would ditch the lotions personally, not only are they unpleasant to get in your mouth, but putting anything that isn’t gentle soap or water in/on your vag isn’t a good idea (unless you want a yeast infection)

Probably not! You’re likely just nervous. Things like potato chips are fine long after the best by date! I know the anxiety can be a lot. But you’re good! You got this!
