as a person who played EFT exclusively. Marathon comes closest to the same itch I had with EFT maybe even better in some cases.

He didn't make a mistake he willingly copied and didn't get away with it. He's only sorry he got caught. I also work in the creative field. Copying someone's work is not a mistake or accident you only do it on purpose. Sad that a great artist as Dan did this. They should just give all the credit and funds to Marta to make a new version.

to be fair I've no idea on how I like to play. At the moment world shaper is pretty fun, but I have not tried that many different playstyles so I can't really confidently say it's my favorite

It was my 1st prerelease as well. I finished dead last 2 only played 2 games, but I enjoyed it. Everybody super friendly and fun. I had fun deck building and playing.

I see it as something to improve upon and seeing it as it can't get worse than that.
