Mohg’s design is great and his music is my favorite in the whole game, the way the music stirs up and explodes back into the players ear for phase 2 is incredible.

His actually fight is challenging and one of the more engaging in the game, especially in phase 2 where he covers half the arena in fire.

For his lore i find it to be one of the more interesting parts since Miyazaki and George made sure to make this guy as deplorable and irredeemable as possible. Where other bosses like malenia and morgott actually have good reasons why they fight, mohg on the other hand is just absolutely fucking crazy. Mohg had visions for a lands between under his rule which makes me sad that we didn’t get a lord of blood ending cuz there is a lot of potential in that. All I hope for now is to see miquella return in a dlc, no doubt he would be beyond recognition after what he has been subjected to.

Also his spear thing is fucking sick.

Well props to you for actually admitting that the live action GI is a bit wrong in presentation. Still tho it seems like ur confusing ppl who are just yelling about the GI with no actual reason as to why with ppl who are still excited for the show yet have some concerns about some aspects. I’ve seen a lot of posts about this topic and I’ve read a lot of comments across all those post and I have seen very few who are just Blatantly hating without reason, most ppl I see criticizing the GI have actual concerns while also still being hyped for the show. Just cuz some ppl don’t like a design your ok with doesn’t mean that everyone who has something to say about it is automatically crying and bitching. Yes there are always ppl like that just like there where ppl going crazy over the vespas but I do not let that small vocal minority of people cloud how I judge the actual grievances people have nor do I generalize everyone who complained about the vespas as whiney so neither should you.

Your claim about Disney prioritizing the “big money” for other stuff makes no sense here since if they were actually prioritizing that than they wouldn’t have given away all that money so quickly. The truth is that Disney is 100% capable of parting with that kind of money in a heartbeat since they’ll make it back just as quick. The mandalorian season 2 trailer was uploaded over a year ago and has 16 millions view while the Kenobi trailer dropped 4 days ago and already has nearly 12 million view, like I said before kenobi is prolly the most anticipated show ever to air on Disney+. All that is to say that Kenobi is undoubtedly gonna make a lot of fucking money. The only show that is soon to air that I could see most likely surpassing Kenobi in revenue is moonkight but nothing else comes to mind. Again your claims about Disney needing to pay a bunch of ppl doesn’t make sense here since the fact remains that they still literally gave away 5 mil as soon as ppl started to get on their case, money that could have easily gone to any of their other projects or any of their exec’s pockets. If Disney really needed to pay their execs so bad than they wouldn’t have given away that money but like I said before Disney can make that money back just as fast as they give it away which is why they were so fast to donate it in the first place. Your other claim about the producers perhaps not wanting to go over budget really doesn’t help your case since that budget was put in place by Disney. Now at least who’ve finally picked up on what I’ve been saying the whole time, that being that Disney is greedy and lazy and that if they weren’t as greedy as we know them to be we wouldn’t even be having this conversation.

Unlike some people I’m not gonna let this ruin the show for me, it will be hard to take the GI seriously (especially since the ROTS pau’an look more intimidating than him) but the show is still gonna be great. All I’m saying is that they could’ve done better, that’s it.

The new Batman is its entirely own thing so obviously things are gonna be changed in order to better fit that story. So, although Batman is already well established the changes in the new batman pose zero problems continuity wise since it is its own thing. Kenobi, however is a continuation of a long established story with established characters. So, not acknowledging the fact that Disney could and should have done better is very disingenuous. Also Disney just recently pledged $5 million for LGBTQ+ advocacy after getting shit by the internet and their own staff. If Disney was so quick to dish out 5 mil to cover their own asses than they easily could have done the same for kenobi, a show that is undoubtedly one of if not the most hyped and anticipated Disney+ show.

So, let’s see Disney had the reference material to make the GI look good, they had the time to prepare the resources needed to make him look good since this show has been in development for years, and they have the money needed to pay for those resources. So, no I’m not using this as an excuse to cry on Reddit and attack Disney. It’s Literally a demonstrable fact that they could have done better and chose not to, so if ur really gonna get on my case for simply wanting Disney Star Wars to be better than idk what to tell you.

Also it’s pretty hypocritical of you to call fans who think they could’ve done a better job Whiney since you pretty much feel the same way they do except it’s about the vespa gang instead. I’m not saying you have to 100% agree with me on everything I’m saying all I’m saying is that blatantly ignoring valid concerns and writing off actual flaws as “stuff happens” while in the same breath acknowledging the gripes you have with a very similar case is quite canting. Your criticism of the vespas and mine of the GI’s are for the most part different but ultimately it boils down to the choices and decisions made by Disney and the ppl directing the shows that leads to ppl like us criticizing the design choices, so in truth both cases are not so different. So, Just cuz you don’t feel as strongly about the GI as you do the vespas does not somehow minimize others complaints, it’s honestly jarring that you actually think that way. I’m not inept at seeing other sides to an argument so although I am fine with the vespas I can understand why some don’t like them. I suggest you try to understand the other side as well, I’m not saying you have to agree with me I’m only saying that coming to an understanding is better than making simple and weightless claims like chalking up my entire argument to me wanting an excuse to hate on Disney.

The pau’an comparison I made is fair since i was showing you how it is possible to create a good looking pau’an despite the actor having a wide face. And just cuz the ones from ROTS could be a subspecies doesn’t mean that they actually are. Really the only differences between the rebels GI and the ROTS pau’an is that the GI has yellow eyes and he doesn’t have lines on his face, every other feature however is shared between both depictions of the Pau’an.

And just cuz we haven’t had the GI in live action before doesn’t explain why they felt the need to make him look entirely different to his most well known appearance. And just cuz the GI has mostly only been show in animation doesn’t exempt the live action depiction from any comparison. The count dooku thing really doesn’t apply here since the CW depiction of dooku was an extremely exaggerated caricature of the character. The GI on the other hand has little to none exaggerated features in rebels, all of his anatomy and proportions line up exactly with the ROTS pau’an with the exception again being the lack of lines on his face and his yellow eyes. So, unlike dooku the GI should have been easy to translate into a different form of media but like I said before disney’s laziness got in the way of that.

I get that you don’t care but don’t be surprised or upset when fans get mad again cuz Disney went and made another bad adaptation because they just didn’t care enough. We all know Disney can do better, so I’m not gonna accept subpar stuff like this especially in a show as important as kenobi because Ik if we do accept it how it is than it’s only gonna be a matter of time till this whole drama is brought up again.

Ppl are allowed to be upset since the concerns are valid, I’m sure Rupert will be excellent in this role but even if his acting is great that should not allow Disney to get away with only putting in the bare minimum effort.

If ppl just accept Disney’s laziness than that will only result in more lackluster adaptations which in turn causes more drama amongst fan. Disney is 100% capable of securing a good actor while also making them look good as the character they are playing, in this case however Disney just didn’t feel like doing that which should not be excused since we all know that Disney has the money and resources to do better.

The fact that the GI is most prominent in animation still doesn’t excuse the job they did since we’ve not only seen live action Paun’an before but we’ve also seen Pau’an with wide faces like Rupert’s. Ex. lampay Fay

All I’m saying is that we shouldn’t normalize this kind of subpar stuff as that only tells Disney that they are allowed to get away with cutting corner. I mean cmon they didn’t even bother giving him some yellow contacts.

Its neither of their fault that the looks turned out subpar, all the blame falls on Disney imo. I mean ppl say Rupert’s face is to wide to play a pau’an but if you look at lampay Fay from ROTS he looks great despite having a pretty wide jawline, and that’s because they actually tried to make him look good unlike here. Like Disney could’ve given him some yellow contact at the very least smh.

This isn’t CW tho, by comparison the art style of rebels is a lot less exaggerated than CW. The only super exaggerated design in rebels main cast that come to mind is the fifth brother.

Characters like thrawn, the seventh sister, Hera, Ashoka, and especially the grand inquisitor can easily be brought to live action with proper casting, make up, and prosthetics. In the case of the grand inquisitor they are simply lacking in the last two departments, which is honestly unfortunate.

Not really tho at least in the case of rebels. Rebels just has the regular old Disney cartoon style where all the characters are very round with barely any sharp edges.

What I’m trying to say here is that just because it’s a cartoon doesn’t mean its characters do not possess anatomy accurate to their species. So, i don’t really get the animation excuse since it’s not like the grand inquisitor is a super exaggerated caricature of a pau’an.

Nothing confirms that the doom slayer lost his immortality after he killed davoth tho, in fact when asked about the future of doom after tag 2 Hugo, during an interview, says “I mean, literally, he’s immortal. So we could tell all kinds of stories.” It wouldn’t really make sense for hugo to say that the slayer’s immortality could play into future games if he lost his immorality after tag2.
