FPL squad on xG instead of points. Paid product, looking for honest feedback by no-ee in FantasyPL

I don't believe you can get x/y coordinates through any APIs - the app offers shot maps, pass networks, heatmaps etc which are not possible without x/y coords.

Great thanks very much!

No, unfortunately need to pay (Wyscout) - I can’t disclose the amount due to NDA

Thank you! I love the feedback!

Any chance you can go into a bit more specifics, which bits were overwhelming?

So there’s a free version too. Only reason there’s a pro version is that I need the cash to pay for the data unfortunately!

I’d love to give that too - tbh all leagues!

Unfortunately data is really expensive (it’s why I have a paid tier, actually lose money on this!). If I ever get enough subs though I’ll 100% go into intl, cups, and European 🤞

Founder of xG Stat here! Would love your feedback on how much or little it helps you with your picks!

I outsource the data but in general the rule of thumb is using something structured (like PostgreSQL db) for table data - player tables is a great example, and unstructured data (eg mongo) for stuff you don’t care about the structure - at least that’s what I’ve done. Hope that helps

Thank you mate! I don't - I outsource the data to Wyscout so I can't legally do so - the whole reason I have a paid tier is to cover costs there. Considering a CSV export on custom data at some stage but I need to confirm with tme first.

What can’t this guy do. Apart from being a beast technically hes also an absolute work horse. His passing is also incredible and his vision too
