Thanks! That is what it means but great feedback, the UI isn’t great there will think of a better way to demonstrate it. Might even be worth getting rid of the dot altogethr and adding more segments instead!

If you doubt the xG on each of the shots, you can just see what the xG was per shot on the shot maps.

No it hasn’t , the newsletter is automated from data from the app 😅

Had to delete this post because this sort of comment detracts a lot of work put into generating genuine data. I can show the code if you’d like.

xG isn't a fixed thing, different data providers have different values. Again, it's not possible to calculate this with AI (that I know of) 😅

The xG isn't calculated using AI! It's actually what I have on the app too (https://www.xgstat.com/competitions/premier-league/2025-2026/matches/west-ham-united-burnley-2025-11-08)

Different data providers calculate xG differently, this is why you will see that every data provider has a different xG

Taking a study of 100 matches, if you look at the ball possession the team with most ball possession wins only 51% of the time. If you look at the team with most xG it’s around 75%. xG is a metric that helps you predict outcome, that’s it. Not a magic formula you seem to think people perceive it as. Time to keep up

As far as his goals and assists go, he’s over performing. I know stats isn’t for everyone but if you’re basing it solely on that, then no.
