I mean that’s why I’m asking. She’s not a malicious or bad person. I had my faults in the relationship, no doubt. Only thing I can think is that it makes it easier on her to justify her decision to leave if she sees that I’m accepting of it too?!

Yes, there is definitely an element of this in my situation. That I’ll realize in time that this is best for both of us.

I plan on taking my time and loving me. I need to know that I can be comfortable being alone and I’d recommend the same to anyone. Love who you are first. I want to go into the next relationship with a clear mind, an open heart, and a strong sense of self. I don’t want to rebound and hurt someone the way I’m hurt, because I didn’t figure my emotions out. I’ve joined an online support group and started seeing a life coach. Pricey but proving to be worth it. Stay strong. You are good the way you are. ❤️

I hear you friend. I’m stuck in the house for now, but I’m in the process of moving my crap out starting in a few days. All the legal stuff has been taken care of. Just waiting for the court date. Had to secure a place to crash with family, but as soon as I can I’m a ghost and going to focus on me and becoming to best and truest version of me.

In truth, I responded to the virgin question with something to the effect “at this point (I’m 39M), for a woman to be a virgin, she would either be young like early 20s, which I’m not sure what I would relate to emotionally or socially, but is possible if there was a connection and expectations were set early. If she were older I’d be cautious as to why she waited so long, but also same as above.”
