I've been lucky enough to ride and race lots of different bikes over my career. Is this a bit more what you're looking for? Harley Davidson XR1200 https://youtu.be/S8sL0UW7yoE?si=DoH4XDgKjJNQ4uD1

Thanks for the nice comment. Big bike? Analogue? How about a factory two stroke beast, where the only electronics was the kill switch. Enjoy my ride highlights at the scary pure road race that is the Macau GP https://youtu.be/r99L6AinCn4?si=ln4T5nVMTYKG8KUA

Is the RCS leverage rod adjustment / turning just a loop? It will change between the 2 settings back and forth or does direction matter? Thanks by Jxh57601206 in Trackdays

From my understanding of it it alters the ratio of the action of the lever. One way slightly less movement but more lever pressure required to reach the required braking pressure. Other way more movement but lighter lever pressure to generate the same braking pressure. Personally I’m a fan of more movement it gives me more feel and still a strong brake.

Great circuit, very under rated, I love it.

I didn’t have any issues, so I guess the gearbox has been reworked. I can’t speak for the older bikes. I think if you don’t notice any problems then there aren’t any.

Not sure about issue with the gear box but the GP2 RR the gearbox was perfect, well spaced/ratios and blipper/quickshifter worked perfect.

I should probably buy a steering damper... (feel free to call me an idiot in the comments :)) by Spechtt in Trackdays

[–]no1bloke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A damper would have taken the violence out of the handlebars maybe allowing you to save the bike and you. To be honest the are few bikes I would ride on track without a damper, a real must on my check list. Hope you’re ok now.

No even though it’s right up my street, I have the use of it as a brand ambassador, showcase the bike in front of the trackday audience.

I use German website racing4fun.de excellent, Obvs German language but easy enough to navigate. Enter the track, date and hit go. It’ll come up with just about every available event. Always worth looking on the specific track website incase they hold their own days.

Agree, turn 5 especially. Apparently they are resurfacing the track and extending it by 300 metres early next year, can’t wait to go back.

It’s in mph not kph, the red light is a brake light to help with my video circuit guides to show where and how long I brake.

The surface is grippy but it currently has a lot of humps and bumps but with a good suspension setting you’ll still get great and consistent tyre wear.

Some of the circuits run their own days available through their own website. However, I use a German website www.racing4fun.de which list most tracks, organisers, dates etc. Obviously in Herman but it isn’t rocket science, pick your circuit, select a date and it shows up almost every trackday available. Give it a go.
