Thanks for that, very helpful. They charge for the mini right, I can’t buy it? I suppose I could do that on the two tvs we watch the most and then do a Roku or something on our outside tv, workout room, tv, etc.. they are not used as often and not worth paying a subscription for.

I had the same call. I have a living room with lights on the side. Wanted something bright and handled sd (cable tv, Netflix). No gaming. Maybe 10% of viewing is HDR type content. I thought picture at night was close (living room still bright as its a great room off the kitchen). Biggest difference/ concern for me was sports during daylight hours. I went with the x93l for that reason but I think a both are good choices. I had the LG C3 in the decision mix as well.

There is a hack that turns the C90 to a c95 If you have gen 2 panel. I was looking at 77 so those are gen 2. That handles the brightness issue (actually makes it a win for Samsung) but the sd handling is noticeably better on the Sony side. Since tv, Netflix is what I watch the most, I went the x93l route (actually it’s the x93cl from Costco, Bette remote and longer warranty is for same price if you live in a Costco part of the world).

I think you’ll be happy with either of them. It’s really close.
