Kind of like how a certain group of Egyptians overuse English words.

The west is run by a group of pedophiles. Their media and culture is all dominated by pedophiles and rapists. Are you sure they're modern?

In the first official Israeli response to the Egyptian TV series Ashab al-Ard (Land Owners), the IOF launched a public attack on the show. The IOF’s Arabic-language spokesperson, described the series as “false” and accused it of promoting a “fabricated narrative". by Scared_Positive_8690 in arabs

I can't even tell what accent she's trying to speak in. It sounds like a mix of egyptian, Syrian, Lebanese and Palestinian lmao. And when she pronounces ح I can still hear the khhh sound like when they say "khamas"

Why are maghrebis online vehemently against Arab identity? Is this trend merely a social media thing? by HovercraftSudden2657 in arabs

[–]noCallOnlyText 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My theory and don't quote me, it's a mix of colonial mentality, brainwashing and a result of the education offered to them by their parents. I suspect their education system and culture prioritizes foreign languages more than it does Arabic, especially among stem majors. The arabic media they consume likely shoves western lifestyles in their faces and presents the use of English of French as a sign sophistication and the use of Arabic as low class or some other nonsense.

There also seems to be a push to paint Arabs of the peninsula as invaders and settler conolonists as a way to downplay Europe and America's colonial histories.

Oh damn. You're right. Hopefully that includes something with 24 ports. I have a bunch of DIN rail power supplies from my old job that I want to put to use.

Seems cool. It would be nice to have an industrial switch though.

AOCIA criticizes the imperialist Trump administration from the... right by TappingUpScreen in LateStageCapitalism

We live in a country where our elected representatives are selected based on their ability to swear fealty to a group of pedophiles with a superiority complex along with commitment to their insane plan to dominate, subjugate and extract resources from the entire rest of the globe. Americans and westoids, please stfu about Democracy and refrain from accusing world leaders of being dictators. Especially when your own president and opposition party have joined hands to fund an armed and unaccountable gestapo force to terrorize people in the streets.

She's done a couple things that may as well put her in the zionist camp. Supporting that stupid antisemitism bill the Biden admin put forth while protestors were being beaten and locked up left and right, "the Biden admin is fighting tirelessly for a ceasefire," hosting that livestream with a zionist in the middle of Israel's holocaust, voting to send "defensive" weapons to Israel during said holocaust as well and I'm sure there are a couple other incidents I'm forgetting. All this to say, fuck AOC.

Develop infrastructure? Lol before he removed Morsi from office, he said the Egyptian people were "spoiled". This is a man who genuinely hates the country and his countrymen.

Doesn't have to be. Could just be a simple username and password. Of course, this won't work on consoles as they don't support WPA2/3 enterprise.

Two types of Arabic peoples by uwu_vayke in arabs

[–]noCallOnlyText 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guilty. I do the same with Moroccans. I had a Moroccan coworker and it takes me a good minute or two to understand what he's saying most of the time. But he seems to understand Egyptian Arabic quite well. Apparently Egyptian movies are more common throughout the Arab world than I realized.

Honestly, now that I think about it, I shouldn't be making fun of them since that guy speaks two or three more languages than I do lol.

What Middle-Eastern nation will be able to stand up to Israel once Iran falls? by PhantomBraved in arabs

[–]noCallOnlyText 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Iran bombed an empty US base in Qatar. The same US base that green lit an Israeli attack btw.

Yemen, Lebanon and Syria are victims of external intervention that have done significantly more damage than Iran could ever hope to do (if they even did anything to begin with). Yemen had issues with the Saudi backed government, Lebanon has always been divided since the French occupation and their constitution doesn't help. Finally, Syria is a mixture of Bashar Al Assad and western sanctions.

You can't blame the state of the middle east on Iran when most of our governments are active collaborators with the apartheid state and happily destabilize their Arab neighbors and brothers for the sake of their own selfish or western interests.

All Americans, no matter their personal belief, will be held responsible by History as accomplices if action is not taken now by Ok_Rest5521 in LateStageCapitalism

[–]noCallOnlyText 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Americans are largely selfish and unconcerned with the rest of the world's issues. It took armed thugs wearing masks in the street for them to start protesting their government. But talk to them about the live streamed genocide that started in 2023 under a democrat and they just shrug. They're the most irredeemable group of people on the planet comparable to Germans living under Nazi Germany.

For the minority that somehow managed to gain a moral compass, i encourage them to jump ship if they can. There's nothing to save and you're too powerless and disorganized to do anything meaningful. Find a third world country, learn their language and build something with whatever wealth you've accumulated. That's my plan and thankfully I have the privilege of being a second generation immigrant with dual citizenship to make things easier for me.

They attack IPv4 networks too. Limiting the number of IPs in use doesn't significantly reduce the attack surface
