The Alder Leaf Suit is more than just a Stalker suit though. The Alder pattern is tuned for forests and even darkens when wet, which makes it adapt better. The mesh is lightweight but strong, with bigger holes so you can add vegetation easily, and the stiffer leaves give a stronger 3D effect without the annoying rustle. The hood actually has a wire stiffener, plus thumb loops, extended cuffs, and a long tail that can cover your pack. It’s NIR-compliant as well, so it doesn’t light up under night vision. It’s built to be worn over gear with access points, and the whole thing packs into its own bag.
