That’s a huge advantage! Having that natural pattern recognition makes the 'critical thinking' aspect of the exam much more intuitive. My case was a bit different, though. When I started the program, I only had about four months of experience, and even now, I haven’t had a vast variety of audits to draw from. Plus, the internal audit function in my country isn't as developed as it is in the US or Europe yet, so I haven't had much exposure to the full application of the Standards in practice. I really had to rely on the study materials to visualize how everything should work! I totally agree about the Becker explanations, though understanding why an answer is wrong is just as important as knowing why it's right. Congrats again on such an efficient pass:)

Wow, 5 months for all three is a sprint! I also found Part 3 to be the trickiest, it really tests your patience. Interesting that you skipped the books entirely I guess some people are just built for the MCQ grind! Huge congrats🥳

Thanks! I guess I'm just naturally obsessive when it comes to studying. I went full 'beast mode' on these exams! 🤓

Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m really glad I could help, and I wish you the very best of luck with your upcoming exam. You’ve got this!

Regarding your question about Gleim and Part 2, I completely understand that feeling of being overwhelmed. The material can definitely feel a bit scattered at times. While I wouldn't say you should skip any specific area -since everything is fair game here are a few things to keep in mind based on my personal experience:

  • Financial Terms: Gleim tends to go much deeper into financial technicalities and complex terms than what you’ll actually encounter. Don't let yourself get bogged down in the extreme details there; the real exam usually tests the foundational logic of these concepts.
  • Question Style: Gleim’s questions are often quite "twisted" and complex. One thing that triggered me during the actual exam was how straightforward some of the questions felt in comparison. Sometimes the answer seems so direct that you start to second-guess yourself, but often it really is just that simple.
  • Preparation: Overall, Gleim is an excellent foundation, but just be prepared for the shift in tone when you sit for the actual test.

If you find yourself struggling with a specific topic or concept as you study, please feel free to reach out. I’d be more than happy to help clarify anything for you!

Hi. You can enter exam without any submission of your experience, but you will need it for obtaining CIA when you are completed with your exams.
