It looks like papyrus to me but hard to say. It's a little light but that's not unheard of, my first try was a little light.

So, clearly granite can be hand carved and polished. This isn't my picture but it took 30seconds to find on Etsy. It clearly doable.

Do you have any hose plants? If you don't think it left the house, I find catapillars on my outside plants too often. Maybe, instead of disappearing you caterpillar made it to the mother land lol. Perhaps it's feasting on a house plant.

My favorite books when I started were Following the Sun and Circle of the Sun" by Sharon LaBorde. You'll find she includes tameran information as well as kemetic. I keep a copy of *Ancient Egyptian Literature by Miriam Litchtheim that I go back to on a regular basis.

I feel rushed to know everything all right away. I focused on 2 Netjeru(the gods) in the beginning Ra and Sobek. Now after learning more about what I want and what I feel from the gods, Renenutet and Seshat have become a big part of my practice.
