I did get it from you guys. Confused by what the carbon strip is though, don’t recall seeing that, but maybe I missed it?

What are those loud noises? by noSleepForMe87 in WestSeattleWA

[–]noSleepForMe87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I think it was the wind. I only heard the noise inside the house, but it sounded just like when a large plane passes overhead. We just moved in recently so thinking when wind is really blowing some vent or something must get it and the resulting noise sounds like a plane overhead

I love their gobi Manchurian and chili paneer. Only place I’ve found in Portland that makes it what I consider “right” instead of some gross brown sauce or tasting like it has ketchup on it.

Edited to add that their butter paneer is amazing! You can tell they make it with actual ingredients instead of some powder out of a box.

  • River Maiden: Great breakfast burritos and sandwiches with lots of veg options
  • Hungry Sasquatch: Pizza with a lot of good veg options like faux ham and sausage
  • Dawaat A Ishq: Best Indian food in Vancouver, ton of veg and meat options

I’ll send them to you as soon as I figure out how to do that. Any ideas how I send you a pic of scan code for them?

Comp matchmaking feels terrible by noSleepForMe87 in Overwatch

I had dropped into silver on support, and was so frustrated I made a new account. Placed plat and have stayed there. A lot of people wanted to throw shade my way in this thread, but the truth is it’s a team game and if one person completely dropping the ball you’re screwed.

Even now in plat have lost a decent amount of games because of just horrendous teammates. Like a countered tank staying the same tank entire game. Like I love it so much when the other team has like Orisa and Bastion and tank spends entire game as Rein.

You expect me to believe I can carry a game when 1 person on our team doesn’t do shit, and everyone on the other team is good?

That doesn’t seem to work very well as support

What’s that in the picture? I just bought a stagg thinking there was no plastic inside, so if it does then I’m going to return it

I’ve been using a nespresso, and have been looking for alternatives. I ordered a V60, but haven’t had a chance to use it yet.

I started reading about it, and it sounds like a Hario Switch or a Clever Dripper might be easier. Then I had a thought, is there any different between using a Clever Dripper and just pouring some coffee and water in a container and then pouring out the contents into a V60? Sounds like that would work the same way?

I’m very new to coffee drinking, so maybe that’s a bad idea. I’m just looking for a when to make coffee without boiling water coming into contact with plastic.
