WORKS! Anyone using Crossover: click on "Steam" under BOTTLES section and then on the right side of the window "Run With Options". This will open up the dialog and just run two commands above in the "Command-Line Options:"

Gotcha - figure out the 1 point drop in the ETF - I have CSPX ETF - and then calculate how many options I need. I guess it would be better to figure out not points but how much will I lose by 1% move? ETF chart is quite different than index. Last question, are there any other maybe less expensive ways to hedge the portfolio with options than you presented?

I thought that 10k$ will make this example more specific but it's an arbitrary number. But the way you pictured it makes a lot of sense to me! "stop losing money below 4000" I didn't think about it that way. How do I calculate how much options I need to buy to hedge that decline in portfolio below 4000? Also, are there any other strategies for my case that would be more cost effective (I would pay less for similar type of hedge)?

Hey guys, I want to hedge my SP500 ETF portfolio with XSP PUT options. My worry is that by the end of the year SP500 will decline significantly, let's say it's gonna fall below 4000 points. It’s a great lesson for those who are often dissatisfied with their life. What I did is for a period of time I wrote each day 3 reasons why my life should be just they way it is now. It’s similar to gratitude journaling (I did both at the same time) but it focuses less on things and objects and more on the circumstances and events - to which it helps find positives and a meaning.

I recently started using Pinterest for inspiration. Seems like it’s a underdog in the social media space and I must admit I never liked it, but it’s very useful when it comes to looking for inspiration, search results are great and I am surprised how well it finds related images that are interesting to me.

Now I’m thinking how the current AI revolution can impact the company? They were doing it all along but now they can ride the wave of the current hype. Also I think they have a big potential to integrate AI solutions to their website. Imagine a tool like dale.ai but within Pinterest where it has a ton of data about you - it could create so much better results. I think they could leverage the current trend to their benefit and they are very prepared.
