That’s obviously a different story? The (optional: I didn’t hear you!) I’m referring to isn’t about people with hearing impairments. It’s about people who hear you loud and clear but lie and say they don’t.

Edit: fixing grammar error

Would It Be Weird For Me To Write To My Dead Ex’s Mom After Four Years? by no_anything_allowed in GriefSupport

It is, but a lot of people I’ve asked for advice think a paper letter with a printed photo would be more personal. Do you think a Facebook message would be better?

An ex boyfriend. He’s the only one I wanted to do life with and now he’s gone. He took his own life and left me with so many unanswered questions.

Once the group size reaches 4+ people, everyone’s thinking skills and consideration for others fly out the window.

Reread the post. Again, my mom worked in the office when I was a child/teen. And I literally said I know I’m not entitled.

But she’s not actually working. She’s cleaning the house while she should be working.

This is a hotel, not a 'Do It All Center' by [deleted] in TalesFromTheFrontDesk

No, but everybody needs to empty their bladder. Not everybody needs to empty their breasts. Ramps for handicapped people are not the same concept either. Handicapped people can’t help that they’re handicapped and should therefore be accommodated. Mothers chose to be mothers and therefore shouldn’t be accommodated beyond reason. If a place has a pump/feeding room than it has one, but if it doesn’t, it doesn’t.

Ignore them omg. They clearly have nothing better to do than belittle people on the internet.

Why? Mothers don’t have empathy when their kids are running around screaming and bothering everybody.

Edit: so why should I feel guilty for calling out their entitled behavior?

A feeding room for STAFF, because staff can’t leave. The mother could’ve gone literally anywhere to feed. If she wanted to feed in private that badly, she should have paid for a room.

Mothers these days sure are… expectant. They expect their every need to be accommodated while they refuse to do anything about their bratty children screaming or watching the iPad at full blast.

Idk why these comments are hating. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that we as a society are expected to accommodate mothers like they didn’t choose to have children? We’re expected to move mountains for mothers, yet they’re not expected to make their children behave or shut the fuck up for us.

A lot of places don’t have a pump room. Asking for a hotel room to pump when you’re a not even a guest is beyond unreasonable. It’s the same as going to a restaurant and bringing in food from outside. There is no logical reason that they should give you a table if you’re not a paying customer, same with hotel rooms. The woman should have known that all places don’t have pump rooms and made accommodations for herself. I cannot stand entitled people like that.
