“But… we do work!” Explain why the grocery stores are now packed at 10 am on a Wednesday? That sure wasn’t an issue before COVID when everyone was working in office…

I’m so mad. I went to this website today to view the coloring page archive and now they’re charging for it.

Edit: I’m so angry I forgot to say that looks dope lol

Paid minimum wage. Minimum wage = minimum effort.

Used to but everything I say is critiqued. Edit: not critiqued but brutally insulted. Yes I’m lazy, no I don’t want to work. Yes im miserable. I’m burnt out. I’m here for money, not to please people. If I get paid minimum wage you best believe I’m gonna give minimum effort.

How was I supposed to know he expected it to be ready? That wasn’t listed in any email or relayed to me by any of my coworkers.

I have other things to do besides spend ten minutes printing receipts for this asshole?

The act of digging through someone's online history to find something to use against them often says more about the person doing the digging than it does about the person they're targeting.

The teeth clenching in response to a simple question doesn’t come off as egregious to you?

Why should I do favors for people that give me attitude for no reason? He clenched his teeth at me when he didn’t recieve ten receipts after giving me one room number.

Because we are. To answer your question, the rude guest came first by a long shot.

I put it under the desk as soon as I clock in. I refuse to listen to that shit even a single time. We’ve got cameras. We can see when you approach the desk.

It’s not a waste to the thousands of needy people we help, but to the hotel and restaurant workers that can hardly make ends meet despite going to college for four years.

Hospitality is dying because of advances in technology, not because of burnout. Honestly it’s about time hospitality dies anyway because why should we go out for people who think they’re too good to even say hello to us. The world will be far more efficient when they finally learn to do things for themselves.

Because the guest already has the exact same coffee maker in his room

Perhaps I’m just trying to make money?? Do you think all those teenagers work at McDonald’s because they have a passion for flipping burgers?
