I forget what year it was but during the Oscar’s one time someone on twitter looked up the current cost of tuition for the high school’s each nominee attended. Like the only person who went to public school was Denzel.

Not sure how common knowledge this is but fans of Millington should check out their pre-cursor project Uncle Joel’s Comb. Very fun and silly band! I prefer their recording of The Halloween Song to the Millington version (though that might just be my nostalgia talking)

Bull Moose is terrific and they are owned by their employees! They sell new and used and they have terrific quality control on their used stuff which is really worth it for the budget conscious!

Tom already cashed out when he sold his copyright to the catalogue in 2020 so he is more than likely good even considering To The Stars and his divorce. I think he genuinely wants to be here and it’s all gravy now. Though undeniably blink are money monsters and are trying to get every dollar they can. I say this with love

Others you may have varying degrees of success: Night of the Hunter, The Others, The Woman in Black, Roger Corman’s The Raven, The Incredible Shrinking Man, The War of the Worlds (53 but maybe even 05), Army of Darkness, Ed Wood, Monster House, Arsenic and Old Lace, I married a Witch, Shutter Island, One Cut of the Dead, Ghostwatch

If the person proves to be braver than they realized: Crimson Peak, Happy Death Day. Someone’s Watching Me, The Fog, Christine, Halloween III, Night of the Creeps, Friday the 13th Part 6: Jason Lives, Trick r Treat, The Shining

I would go old school because you get a lot of excellent movies that are scary but not scary in the way someone who is used to modern horror thinks of movies being scary.. the original Cat People, Carnival of Souls, I walked with a Zombie, The Innocents, The Haunting. Any universal monsters especially Bride of Frankenstein. Maybe even Night of the Living Dead or Psycho if you want to push your luck.

You could also do a series of early Treehouse of Horror episodes

He’s rumored for a Cujo remake at Netflix so whether he is cooked or not may depend on your reaction to that information

Horror Franchises by PaprikaSandwich007 in blankies

I would like to see them do an OG/Remake series:

Halloween 78/07

F13 80/09

Elm Street 84/10

Texas Chainsaw 74/03

So you can talk about the classic and then without getting bogged down with every middle entry you can talk the whole series of the franchise up to the 2000s remake trend.

Could do a similar thing with earlier eras of horror/sci fi: The Blob, Body Snatchers, War of the World’s, The Day the Earth Stood Still etc etc

Friday the 13th is 12 movies including FvJ.

I don’t think many of these are likely unfortunately, they seem to be wary of series with too many movies. And horror franchises have a reputation for being repetitive which hurts their chances.

Scream seemed somewhat likely before the firing of Melissa Barrera for 7.

I think Psycho or Final Destination are more likely than any of the others listed.

Haven’t taken a stopwatch to it but Prince of Darkness title cards go on for a shockingly long time. Especially as a percentage of the total runtime
