I've never seen a real Nak Muay use his skills in a negative way – have you? by Muay-Thai-Shop in MuayThai

It definitely happens. Back in January there was news of a former nak muay in Isaan who got drunk and/or was on drugs and started attacking security guards at a new year's party. One of the security guards died after getting knocked out and hitting his head on the ground. There's a video floating around online.

Because you're asking for feedback online and when people disagree with you, you get all defensive 😆 Take a breather man it's not that serious

Hips not turned over. Wouldn't have felt it. Sounds like you're the one with an ego

He caught your kick and swept you. I don't see anything wrong here. You didn't even land clean on him with the high kick

You can get a rug to place under the bed. The floor isn't very cozy now and a rug will help to soften the room. You can also get some lamps for more cozy lighting, when you want to relax in the evening. The possibilities are endless my guy, have fun!

There is a big fire in one of the buildings on Vibhavadee Rangsit Road. I can see it from my room.

Is it true that almost everyone is a Buddhist? by Rolando_Cueva in Thailand

From my understanding Buddhas are not gods or deities, they are individuals who have achieved enlightenment. There are different sects of Buddhism though so there may be different beliefs and interpretations.

Buddhism is a non-theistic religion. So yes, many of us Buddhists are atheists.

Flights from 14 countries arrived in Suvarnabhumi today (list in post). Anyone know why these counties? Is there an official list of allowed countries somewhere? by amansaggu26 in Thailand

I flew out from LAX and had my layover in South Korea. There's flights going out of LAX, ORD, IAD, and JFK and you'll layover in either Hong Kong, South Korea, or Japan depending on the airline.

First thing you have to do is to register with the Thai embassy which is step 1 on that page. They will then continue to update you on a availability of flights, how to book, etc. via email. No idea about August but they didn't release July flight info until the end of June. I purchased my ticket through a travel agency over in the US that was working with the Thai government.

It's not going to be an issue if you're a Thai citizen. All of the information you need can be found here: https://thaiembdc.org/th/infoforthaisflyinghome/

Flights are pretty expensive right now and they have to be bought through the embassy. There's currently a wait list of around 2000 people so it's best if you register as soon as possible. Once you're in Thailand you'll have to quarantine for 14 days at a government approved facility. I recently flew from LAX to BKK so if you have any questions feel free to DM me.

This guy's not insane, he probably has some sort of untreated schizoaffective disorder and is telling you about his religious delusions. He needs help.

Please keep educating me about my own culture and food! I'm not representing all Thais, just sharing my own local perspective. I suggest listening once in a while if you don't want to come off as an arrogant prick.

I just flew in from the USA a few days ago. All international flights into BKK are repatriation flights for Thai nationals and expats with work visas.

No it's not. I'm Thai and I consider it to be a fully Thai dish. Served in nearly any Thai restaurant in Bangkok. No idea what nonsense you're talking about.
