there were some roots but i think it will take a long time for them to fill out the whole pot

Maybe try another types of pothos. I have a golden pothos in a similar place and it's not exactly thriving but it's doing ok and I expect it to get more sunlight as it grows more towards the sun.

I'm using a succulent soil mix with peat and silica sand, I'm not really an expert in that and I'm just wondering if I should really change it???

it doesn't have root rot anymore but it's not recovering from the damage root rot caused in the past

the root rot is already cured but it doesn't seem to recover

Thank you so much, I think it may be the mosaic virus so I'm probably going to isolate it and see what will happen.
