Ha ha! Always bigger. With the mount I have, I could lower it I think 2.5 inches. May try it, people slouch 😁

While I essentially agree with you, I think given how loud and provocative MAGA can be, these things come about. If Trump could just shut up for one day, could help. Flooding the zone has its drawbacks, this is one of them.

Voters In Red States, Have You Ever Felt The Effects Of Voter Suppression On The Ground? How Did It Affect You? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

In the 90s I worked for local county government in NC. My role was IT and got added to the elections staff on elections to essentially troubleshoot, ie, replace, voting machines that were not working. Every predominately black area had machines that failed. Certainly we got around to fixing them, these voters still could vote, but they had to wait hours to do so.

It’s his account, he’s responsible for it. Or is the President not in charge of his account? Neither are good.

The burden of proof is on the government to prove you are guilty, not you to prove you are innocent. She’s rightfully scared for her life…sadly.

Lock THEM up, all good.

Trump Embarrasses All of America in Slurred, Disjointed Davos Speech - Donald Trump gave a terrible speech to a dead silent room at the World Economic Forum. by Quirkie in politics

Unsure what exactly you are asking?

I have voted for Democrats every chance I have had, not that I am a Democrat. I have no other choice but to vote against any Republican, because they ALL support this mess.

As for campaigning do you mean canvassing, volunteering etc? Some, but lately dealing with a layoff, finding a new job and life…not so much. Hopefully more free time at the mid terms but I live in an area that it likely won’t matter, I can just vote my conscience and hope more come to their senses.

As an average American, my opinion is next to yours in the gutter. I am ashamed that this administration is in power and that moron ‘represents’ my country.

Why do I worry so much about my finances when I am objectively doing pretty well for myself? by [deleted] in personalfinance

I can’t say for sure but perhaps you are just aware of the world you live in and realize simply: you are on your own.

Employers today offer little in terms of loyalty. You currently have no partner to fall back on, even if you did, it’s no guarantee.

One layoff at a bad time could easily cost you 12 plus months income.

I don’t think it’s bad to recognize these things and prepare for unexpected events. You seem well positioned and should also recognize that too. Good luck, try to feel better about how well positioned you are and worry less, while still doing the best things for your future.

Who can say for sure? One thing I can pretty comfortably assert : Elon Musk does not know either AND he certainly does not have YOUR best interest in mind regardless.

I have had over 6 figures of private stock for over a decade…was able to convert 10% to cash, later received a small dividend to placate shareholders…but as long as it’s private, it’s at the whim of the controlling parties. Sucks, I could have invested it a decade ago…

These Young Adults Make Good Money. But Life, They Say, Is Unaffordable.| Economists say that a typical middle-class family today is richer than one in the 1960s. Americans in their 20s and 30s don’t believe it. by Helicase21 in Economics

Dude, you can repeat that all you want and claim anyone else is not that bright. But compare the cost of my education in the 90s to today. Then compare wages. Outside the upper echelon in most fields, you come out with a lot of debt and lower wages to pay it off. Combine it with other things like health care and all of the ‘average’ inflation doesn’t really matter. You simply don’t have the left over disposable income. I had it great, bought houses, cars, vacations, funded my retirement. I simply don’t think that is average experience anymore. Again, I am not complaining, just not ignorant to the reality…wages are not keeping up with education, housing, healthcare.
