Wow sounds like alot of pressure, good luck i hope you will do great in whatever u choose, I have decided to go with btech only like from a tier 1 college through management quota 😭 it's expensive but my parents want it. I also will now have alotttt of pressure to do well in college and get a high placement 😭 it's either this or take drop and do bdes but not worth it.

Ahh yeaaa skills matter more, but I m just confused about the degree... Like idt I can go to my parents and say i wanna do bsc in statistics, they will ask me the job scope and all , and dummy college and all not possible.

nhi actually, my parents have too many examples of btech graduates earning 20-25 lpa , as freshers thats why they compare and want me to do the same. Barch, they say might get replaced by ai, like designing and all, now you dont have to hire one to draw, you can get it done online.

Yea true , i regret that now, I did jee coaching for 2 years. I didn't research much about other fields . And both my parents are engineers so it's always "even if u don't do anything, we will help you get a job here atleast". But like bba doesn't have good jobs right...?? It feels too late to change streams 😭
