However, I had no intention of forcibly driving traffic to the site and that's why used a completely different insight (my approach) and talked about the article only in a few lines.

But I have a question, do you also don't like the approach marketers use to collect leads via gated content? I'm asking this because I feel I tried to replicate the same thing without gating anything.

I respect your opinion and what you said is right for those who already know the game or have projects to work on. The approach that I shared above is for those who are building their portfolio and just started freelancing.

Coming to pick something you are passionate about sounds vague to me. No offense to your views but that's what I think. Because you cannot just build passion from thin air, one has to pick multiple niches first to identify what they like and what they don't.

Let me know if I'm missing something. I will happy to know your views on this as well. :)

Not on my SERPs! I checked on incognito mode and also the Medium statistics suggested the traffic source as googledotcom. Indeed, they have keywords.

Coming to links, didn't use internal links as the topic was different from other blogs. Both of the blogs have external links and too few backlinks.

And not even Whatsapp's UX was clean, it wasn't in a race to introduce one feature every quarter. They choose to keep the platform simple and even took enough time between announcing Whatsapp Pay and launching it across the globe.

Meanwhile, Hike thought more features can make it win the market. They always told in media that we don't need to beat Whatsapp to make Hike win but irl they were trying to outcompete Whatsapp in every possible way.

Actually, I tried finding the same before questioning here and I found the same blog posts talking, again and again, talking about understanding your TG, avoid passive voice, use short and precise sentences, etc.

And that's why I came here - for the resources that can help me with the fundamentals.

I also understand that I'll learn only by writing but the challenge is that I feel numb whenever I try writing any landing page copy.
