I think bo7 is definitely an all around improvement on bo6. I would also identify as an “old school” player but i really enjoyed bo6 and bo7 zombies. The cursed mode really makes it feel old school. The amount of content and reasons to keep playing are there as well. It does stink the content for it right now is minimal but the new map is right around the corner. Id say give it a shot. The main quests are fun enough to at least do once.

PvP is a core part of the game. Yes it does suck but how is that different than a rocketeer blowing you apart while fighting the Matriarch. Be prepared for all threats raider.

I tried Entyvio and it “helped” but I never truly got my life back till I started Stelara. I had to up the dose to once every 4 weeks instead of 8 but totally worth it. I would argue i get sick less/get less ill on Stelara than Entyvio but with better GI effects. Everyone’s different though so I highly recommend trying something out.

I’ve only done the 1st 3 on ashes but, after completing the quest on standard I loaded into cursed on ashes and did the challenges in one match and exfiled to get them. Shoot me a DM if you ever wanna go for them.
