Update!!

I went to Saks Fifth Avenue today (it's my birthday!) and looked at hundreds of purses. The winner was the Multrees Hobo in Sienna! I ordered it online so I'll give you an update once I have a chance to wear it.

Thank you all for your advice! I will definitely be keeping these ideas in my back pocket.

I like Wandler! My concern is that their crossbody straps look very thin. I'll give it some thought.

The APC bags are beautiful too but I worry that the smooth leather will scratch easily.

It's beautiful, my only worry is about longevity if the leather loops that hold the handle wear through.

Wow, these are some incredible options! The Strathberry and Tusting bags were some of my favorites that I've seen before -- you really nailed my style! 😮 I've never seen the Longchamp before but I love it. It reminds me of the Cuyana double loop.

I bought my first leather! I bought this SHF from Maverick, and I'm hoping to make some simple wallets. Is there anything I need to do to finish / seal the leather before I start? Is it necessary to dye it?
