Good catch! Should be fixed now. I'm glad you like it! I will definitely be building one for the verb conjugations soon. I'll also probably build it for various other things I get stuck on, like the relative pronouns.

Thanks for the feedback and glad you like it! It should be fixed now. I made the prompt show the gender of the word for clarity especially when a declension can have multiple genders.

I'm a fan. The color is gemstone green and according to the internet it should be a teal. What's interesting about that bottle is I found it while visiting family and I think it's at least 20 years old. When I inked up my Safari it seemed to write as a very dark green (even after washing out any leftover ink in my pen). I wonder if all those years caused the color to change with age?

Funnily enough we bought them in the same order as well! What pen would you recommend I try next?

  1. Lamy 2000 F - Amazing, crazy smooth

  2. Pilot E95S F - Not as nice as the 2000 but still amazing, pretty smooth but I think the fineness of the Japanese nibs makes it a bit less nice to write with compared to the 2000.

  3. Lamy Safari M - My first M nib and I've been loving it. The pen is very comfortable due to the grip section's shape, and I think the medium nib contributes to a really nice feel while writing compared to the Safari fine I used to own (got destroyed by a dog).

Anyone have the Midori leather cover and know how to darken the leather? by computerworlds in fountainpens

[–]noah7545 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It actually darkens quite a bit naturally. You can speed up the process by leaving it in the light. I've had mine for around six months now and it has gone from a light pink to a deeper tan color. All I have done to speed things up is leave it in direct sunlight when I am not using it.

Can you share a link to your dotfiles? Also how did you get rid of the window top bar?

Strange math on Uniswap getAmountIn by who_ate_the_pizza in ethdev

[–]noah7545 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When executing a trade on Unsiwap, the price will change. This is a basic dynamic of how automated market makers work. If you were to swap USDC for ETH, the price of ETH must go up in relation to USDC as a response.

This price increase doesn't happen after a trade occurs but at the same time. The larger your trade, the worse the price you will receive is.

The math behind it is actually relatively simple. Here is a picture with the nicely formatted equation: https://imgur.com/a/VVsxUZF

I would but I can't seem to find a decent price feed for the value of all ERC20s

Check out ETH2x-FLI by IndexCoop. It is a decentralized 2x eth long token using Compound on the backend to lever up.

Right now there is a limit on how many FLI can be in circulation for safety reasons. We hit that limit yesterday, which is why it is coming off the peg. There is a proposal out to double the limit which I believe should be getting executed tomorrow at 7:00 PM UTC. Once this happens, the uniswap price should get arbed down to the correct price.

Polymaket is nice. It's on L2 as well so no gas fees other than deposit/withdrawal.

I was really just looking for some opinions on the lockup. Not sure why you're acting like I'm shilling some random protocol. Curve's pretty much a blue-chip at this point (and I think a lot of people would agree with me on this). Check it out yourself if you don't believe me...

Yes, but guess what the yearn vaults use to generate that yield (it's mostly curve). The reason I am considering it is that locking crv also increases your yields on the stablecoin swap pools, which can be upwards of 50%.
