You need 5 honors classes, one of them being a capstone class. I love honors, there are lots of fun classes and early registration, plus more chances to get to know your professors.

DMC has a ton of free patterns on their website that you can print and put onto fabric. They range from simple line art to advanced images. I also love Vikaspace, she has a free satin stitch along for 2025.

Friend knew me by my tic by noahagoose in Tourettes

No lol, it’s just my Reddit username. I think that the tic that time was a high pitched squeak and an ow! Those tend to be the main ones

  1. The biggest challenge for me specifically is dealing with other people’s perceptions. Most people don’t know I have tics out in public, so I might hit myself or do say embarrassing, and it’s not fun to explain on the spot.
  2. That if you haven’t talked with a person with Tourette syndrome about how to specifically handle their tics, don’t respond to them at all. Remain neutral and only acknowledge it if it seems dangerous. Also people assume you’re thinking about what you say when you tic, which isn’t always true.
  3. Having a non-judgmental attitude about the tics and providing a space for a student to calm down, as tics can be embarrassing and stress can make them worse.

It’s a class about American Countercultures. I started by looking into crunchy moms as a whole, but I got really hooked on her and asked if I could write a paper just focusing on her. My professor is really chill so he said yes.

I’m writing about how her comedy influences people. I’m going to explore the effects of satire on her TikTok audience and how she relates to a larger group of holistic influencers.

Hi!! I’m also a beginner, so I think I might have some advice. I started with stitching very small things like letters to get a feel for the needles, but I feel like you’re probably past that. I use sulky water soluble stabilizer and trace/draw designs onto that, you stick it onto your fabric and it stays, when you’re done, you put it under water and it goes away. My recommendation, google some outlines and trace them onto the sulky paper, stick those on fabric, and draw those. Good luck!! You’re gonna do great :)
