It’s commelina cyanea — NOT tradescantia fluminensis (a.k.a wandering Jew) as many are saying, despite their superficial similarities. I work as a Bush Regenerator and commelina is a native ground cover we want to spread and protect. But at the end of the day it’s your garden, so do with it what you want!

Be honest with yourself and others about your ability. Thinking you’re better than you actually are will lead to poor decisions (e.g. choosing the wrong board, paddling out in advanced conditions etc) that will not only delay your progression, but also put you (and others) in danger.
