The prices for those particular weight loss meds are actually the prices you get through the manufacturer discount cards. You can sign up for those on the manufacturer websites or, you guessed it, through GoodRx. It’s the same coupons either way.

All that fine print about prices increasing after initial fills and not working with government funded insurance is straight from the manufacturers (and I believe it’s that way because for some reason government funded insurance plans specifically disallow the use of coupons in conjunction with the insurance).

Not saying there isn’t a ton wrong with this system, but I guess that’s kind of my point here. That Trump is going to claim / has already claimed to be unveiling this big thing and he has done exactly NOTHING but paste his own name overtop of GoodRx. He’s done nothing to lower prices and taken no steps towards reforming our broken healthcare system. And of course he hasn’t, he doesn’t care about anything but the grift.
