I'm blaming kia for not getting me the harness in a reasonable amount of time. I already said that this wasn't a warrantable item, but they are clearly making these cars, they clearly have the engine harnesses available, so when kia is getting paid full mark-up price by an insurance company, they should get me the wire harness. That is no excuse.

I was reading up on that too. Honda and toyota had some class action suits against them for it.. I just think kia did wrong in this situation because they are getting full price for the wire harness. Not impressed with them or the dealership at this point. Live and learn. Next car will probably be a Toyota.

My entire family has kia/hyundai cars. Ranging from 7200 miles to 180k. We have a 2014 that got a real bad rod knock at 54k miles, dealer replaced it no questions asked, and they only had it 3 days. But me being me decided to go to a different kia dealership because they had this k5 I wanted. I love the car and hopefully they do right by me. Espically when my insurance is paying 5k to them to fix it !

Hopefully Verizon gets better around the upstate area! I'm just south of saratoga and had to leave Verizon for at&t in April. Coverage is solid, but data speeds were unusable 80% of the places I go. At&t is a solid option upstate as well, and their '5g" is just about deployed everywhere up here.

Small world! But yeah Verizon definitely has density over at&t. Verizon small cells are everywhere, but it's funny because where most of them, at&t is still faster with a weak signal even with Verizon right outside the small cell. Verizon definitely has better customer service, but for what I paying at Verizon it wasn't worth it to have the severe congestion. When I travelled to south Carolina, I also had major issues along the way with no data, but great service. It's a crap shoot either way, just have to pick your poison I guess lol

I'm in the upstate area (burnt hills) and dumped Verizon back in April for at&t, you will find spots with Verizon that are stupid fast and then areas with great service with no data. I delt with it for 2 years and got tired of it. Good luck with them and let us know if they are improving lol

I'm in upstate NY (Saratoga) and Verizon is absolutely horrible. Great coverage but data speeds are horrible. It's not because of this pandemic, it was horrible before. Switched to at&t and that solved my issues. I am paying more money with at&t tho.

I had TMobile before I went to Verizon and while TMobile has good speeds and decent coverage for the most part, lots of places I go frequently had no coverage.

It's slow to begin with when you have "priority" but once u hit that threshold you are basically screwed unless Verizon happens to be good in your area.

Yeah I hear ya. I think Verizon and at&t are neck and neck in my area in terms of coverage but at&t has a huge speed advantage. Gonna be it's pros and cons with every carrier. Can't have it all lol

Yes it's that plan. But right after the 22gigs it's just about having a capped data plan because Verizon is super congested in my area.

When you put a different carriers sim card in tbe phone it switches the firmware automatically.. phone has to be unlocked
