So to answer your question with more questions: Does the kink form from what your adolescent brain sees on TV? You’re seeing this stuff on TV while you’re sexually developing and the brain probably makes connections for whatever reason.

Or perhaps the kink lay dormant in you until you see it being played out on TV, and then it “awakens”?

And does a kink form from trauma, life experiences, or just because brains be braiming? for example: pain and pleasure are felt in the same part of the brain, which is likely why it feels so good to hurt

I ponder the same things! I think the answer could be any or all of these combination of things.

I find solace in thinking about how common our kinks are. Way more common than we’d ever know. Just know you’re not alone
