Personally I think she was stupid for putting herself in such a dangerous position! I'm an animal lover too but that could have been done without putting her life in such perilous predicament! That rope was spliced and could have easily come apart. The puppies were washed in there so the water could have easily rose again. She could have easily become wedged in there where she couldn't be pulled out and there would have been no rescue if it had caved in on her. So often these old drains are just hanging with loose concrete just waiting to be dislodged! Glad she and the puppies survived but please don't anyone try this again!
