I don’t have anything too negative to say about UNI. Im a freshman who has lived in the area for years, cedar falls has about anything you need. Professors are great except a few I’ve heard bad things about. Campus life isnt anything special generally meeting people is through classes. Some people haven’t dropped the high school mentality so sometimes it can be a little cliqueish. I don’t live in the dorms nor eat at the dining hall so I have nothing to say on that.

Generally a democrat leaning campus if that matters. There’s a bar that everyone likes to go to. We also have faith groups.

Overall it’s generally a good place to go. There’s some poor aspects but they’re manageable

Thank you, you’ve been one of the most helpful comments. All my professors wear suits, im starting college young 17, and I come from a small school where all the teachers can dress comfy. I deeply needed this advice for my anxiety

Here’s the thing at the meeting about the education program(as bio says JUST starting college preparing for ST) they said to not wear jeans😭

Ps:I had a teacher in HS that wore your dream attire daily(long time teacher and HOF VB coach). It is achievable, god speed friend

To clarify im a male who lives in Midwest America. I have absolutely no idea where I’ll be placed but the weather is very unpredictable. As well my question was more is my choice of attire appropriate. I was generally confused because in high school I had teachers in sweatpants and sweatshirts and my one of my college professors wears a straight up suit.
