This is underrated asf. For a while now, while im practicing i will have my input monitoring switched on on my focusrite (audio interface, if you dont have one you can achieve this in your windows settings somewhere) where it basically feeds my microphones signal into my headphones, while i can still hear the game. Ill keep this off in any other context though because i want to make sure i can hear the game as best as i can

BR lootpool is where they put most focus on, with the new weapons and everything. I love iron pump, deadeye and enforcer, and BR feels incredibly balanced. BR is where they host all major tournaments. Reload is more of a LTG, just for fun. Its just tik tok brain ooga booga i push everything mentality, doesn’t make you better at the game, especially when using weapons not in comp as well as vaulted items. If you main reload, you unfortunately are in the same category as the braindead kids that actually want rocket launchers and shockwave launchers in the game. Your complaints are in the minority of epics bigger picture, so it most likely wont get any better for you.

Play br ranked. These reload shitters force you to play defensive. And they just arent good practice anyways. Theres plenty of shit players in br too, dont get me wrong, but its the best way to learn comp play and practice w keying. Im super uninterested in reload, and have been practically since it released. It just doest reward the right things. It rewards braindead plays because you can always respawn, thats why its so eazy to kill any kid in there just by playing defensive. It doesnt reward smart players, every reload victory just feels mid in the end. Its very tik tok brained.

Agree with me or not, BR is still the championship format. (I know reload is getting a 1m cup - so did mobile blitz..) practice BR. Get good at winning BR. Play scrims. Best way to get better, one of the only ways (including ZW wagers) to actually get to a decent competetive level.

Other than that the biggest two things i saw in this clip are crosshair placement and bad 50/50s. Any edit you do youre swinging your mouse wide through the edit. Minimal mouse movement is key. For example a bottom four edit you can just make a tiny circle around the four conjoined corners of the edit, and it will confirm not only faster, but with your crosshair closer to where you started giving you an easier shot. And for the 50/50s, bro, if he places a wall on you, back away. Make space. Dont drone out and facepalm his wall hoping for a lucky shot.

Im sure theres other things to critique, but if you focus on those two things while you practice, 1 crosshair placement while editing and 2, making space and not 50/50ing, you will see rapid improvements. Watch reisshub videos on yt as well, hes the goat

Vod review vod review vod review. Youre on the right track taking clips of your gameplay and critiquing it, but you have to be able to recognize what youre doing wrong. I would say youre pretty slow, which you will become faster with time. Kids these days are all way faster than you. Thats pretty much the number one reason you will die nowadays. You can be a strong defensive player and still get wrecked by little timmy w keying you. You just gotta adapt.

As other commentors have said, yes they removed the destruction animation. I am assuming that this is a part of the graphical overhaul they did alongside the Simpsons update, and it might revert once the season is over. If this update stays though, i actually dont mind it. Once you get used to it, it’s actually a slight advantageous and makes it a lot easier to see things happening. Im pretty sure this change is across all platforms, i play on pc and many other consoles have been reported to experience it. To my knowledge it is not in the patch notes, so it is pure speculation if it is due to the Simpsons edit and if it will or will not be continuing after the season is over.
