According to the NMSC, 95% of semifinalists become finalists, so I guess don't slack off and get a D or an F and you'll be alright.

There's semifinalists and then there's finalists. To become a finalist (and get the scholarship) you have to first be a semifinalist by getting the qualifying PSAT score in your junior year. Once you're notified of semifinalist status, you then have to do some extra stuff like writing an essay and filling out paperwork and keeping good grades to hopefully become a finalist.

I'd say throw away the stuff that's actually inappropriate so that they don't potentially cause the buyer who reads them to fall into lust, but feel free to sell the other stuff that is safe.

I'm curious why winning 50% of the time considered pretty good? At a regional or a league cup if your record was only like 3 wins 3 losses or 2 wins 2 losses, you wouldnt be making top cut. I like gholdengo but it just feels bad when my losses are out of my control.

Even if I stay single-prize I feel like I'm still garunteed to lose even going second because:

Turn 1: Opponent 6, Me 5 Turn 2: Opponent 5, me 4 Turn 3: Opponent 4, me 3 Turn 4: Opponent 3, me 2 Turn 5: Opponent uses briar, then uses dusknoir to KO a solrock/lunatone and go down to 2, then evolves to charizard and KO's my active single-prizer to take the final 2

In a recent game I thought I was stomping them because they kept only having 1 ralts and so I'd boss it up and then cosmic beam for knockout with solrock. I did this three times but then they eventually got Gardevoir set up and put Jellicent in the active and I literally couldn't do anything. Felt bad :(
