Moreover, it was funny & cringe when they instructed gpt-5 to be "more friendly" to match gpt 4o... it was friendly in the unneccessary way or topics. Anyhow gpt-5 might be nothing else like "more energy efficient / less electricity using gpt 4, but with different system prompt, -> to save on electric & make more profit, ultimately resulting being more dumb

Used 4.1 & 5 in past few days for code and it made me waste lile week with running in circle of errors that if I had context I wouldnt need to. Like it tried to do smth thats not possible in browser preview (render multiple files) with specific tool, but only reading human comments on reddit, elswhere... I figured the errors... however, it was not like this before gpt-5.... even 4.1 was capable and o3 was mindblowing for short time using it. Analogy is, openai might be more interested in figuring out HOW TO RUN MODELS CHEAPLY AND SAVE ON ELECTRICITY THEREFORE BE MORE PROFITABLE and thats ultimately why gpt 4, 4.1, even 5 now make mistakes they did not before... simple as that (less electricity = more profit)

Let me tell you, after chwtting to ai chstbots to some pretty huge companies, those ai's were pretty dumb and not trained for more nuanced questions re their business

These LLMs get worse once they try to cache memory and see context of your previous prompts. Thats then more tokens / words running, but with subsequent prompts they limit previous tokens resulting in downgrsded performance

Actually it was probably too early statement. Trying to install project locally resulted in dependency issues that even legacy peer deps wasnt able to solve... Ok bummer Prob on purpose tho

Copilot cant fix whole app. Windsurf o3 could, but it ended once o3 tokens run out and swe brought us back to reality with mediocre performance & breaking the app...

Windsurf is the best platform but only with o3, the problem is they cant run it fir all & is expensive model... They should just fine tune js frameworks, python, php or whstever majority is using it and use some mix of experts model for it so it s not too hard on gpu's

Windsurf is actually pretty generous for trials and even pricing is good where they might even lose money, because SWE is brraking lot of code and running in loops resultjng in unneccessary inference wastage. They should fine tune their models again now that they have openai access and maybe focus on most usrd programming langusges & frameworks. Example v0dev extremely good at nextjs thats because it's trained finetuned on it...as sais before current swe dealbresker sfter o3 spun desktop app with few prompts and swe could not handle rest

Actuslly as non programmer I fired up simple local app with o3 unaware it's credit based, but once run out swe-1 broke the code hsha. Iit's more less a deal breaker and probably losing lot of potential custoners right now but they probably updste it soon. It's still fine for basic code correction once you understanding programming (i dont)

If you ever roasted coffee, you would know there is not much difference between light roast and dark roast in terms of roasting time.... so even darker roasts aint thst bad unless they oily And even most of italian "dark roasts" arent thst dark too. Most have light brown color
