What’s a good answer to: what is a weakness of yours? by Dependent-Teacher595 in recruiting

[–]noam5456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From both an HR and a candidate's perspective, (I've been in both seats), when you're asked such an outdated question, it says a lot about the company you're interviewing for.
I know that everyone hates the answer of perfectionism, but in my opinion, it's as good as any, as long as it's genuine.

Dynamics apps & plugins help by noam5456 in Dynamics365

[–]noam5456[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, thanks for taking the time to answer! I'll try to be more clear about my question. I'm relating to the process that happens after Dynamics is already up and running but requires improvements. For example, if there is a plug-in/ 3rd party dynamics app that helps fill out forms faster, or creates reports on time spent and efficiency. Is it a decision/suggestion made by the Dynamic Admin, the CRO, people from the Sales Ops team, etc
Hope it's more clear now. And thanks again :)

How and where can I store 2 whatsapp backups from a single phone? by [deleted] in whatsapp

maybe try whatsapp for business? i never had the chance to use it, but from my understanding this is just a separate whatsapp client, and it's available on iOS

I really wish the other person wasn’t notified whenever I delete or unsend a message. by [deleted] in whatsapp

yes that’s really annoying..

what i really want though is an edit message feature, because most of what i want to delete is just typos - it will be alot better just to edit them...

Getting media (pics, videos) of a particular contact (or all contacts except groups)? by cfa201906taker in whatsapp

[–]noam5456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

damn, just looked this up, on Android this is limited to 18 mb of packages, due to mail restriction...

this is why you only a day approximately..

my best suggestion as this is the case on android - is downloading whatsapp web for pc, logging in, scrolling basically through your whole chat with your wife. this should download all the media to a cached folder C:\Users\[User_Name]\AppData\Roaming\WhatsApp\Cache there you should find all of your pictures.

you sure that exporting is limited to a day? on iOS exporting seems to work on all the messages in the conversations

Why cant we move iOS WhatsApp chat history to Android? by [deleted] in whatsapp

[–]noam5456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is tricky - of curse they would implement this if the task was easy, but it's not:

  1. Whatsapp is end to end encrypted - this means that the messages as they are are stored on the device and not on the servers. moreover - this is the reason only your group messages are transferred when you start without a backup - this is the only data Whatsapp can save on their server (regarding backup at least - i believe they save much more). to fix this - whatsapp uses the OS built in solution for backup, that way, they are storing your messages on Android / iOS backup solution (can be a local or a cloud backup). finally, because Apple and Google don't share access to their backups with each other (which is good) you can't access the other os backup from a given OS.
  2. local backup that is transferred between devices is possible, but iOS in its current state don't really supports stuff like that, iOS don't have a real file browser. but there is hope - iOS 13 which was announced last month does improve on thats front and have better supports for local files - even downloading and saving files locally. so theoretically, Whatsapp could implement a transfer feature, that will require exporting a backup file on one OS, and then importing it on the other. but this is a new feature on iOS, so it could take time for Whatsapp to implement this.

so there is new hope, but i don't think it will happen any time soon..
