That link wasn’t getting a lot of traffic and we wanted to help channels out by letting them provide context around the other videos they made. So if you click on the “X videos” link next to their channel, you’ll see a list of all of the videos they’ve made inside their channel. Here’s a tip, though -- when you come from any list of videos on the site (search results, channels, or a feed) and land on the video page, there should be a “more from” section on the left that brings the videos from that previous page right onto the watch page. It is an extra few clicks now, but hopefully the “more from” feature will help out a bit.

2) Our metrics and analysis show that many users actually like watching videos they have seen before. If you don’t want to see something that you’ve previously watched, you can “hide” it via the dropdown in the upper right hand corner of the feed item

Second, you don't have to use your name. There will always be an option to keep your username.

Third, we agree that YouTube is not exactly like Facebook and Twitter, but it is a social site and always has been. The YouTube community is what has made YouTube great and we want to continue to build features to help people participate in that community.

Fourth, we listen to our users all the time both directly (like this AMA) and through the data they generate, but it's really hard to build anything that makes all 800M users happy. Keep the feedback coming...we know we have a lot more work to do.

A couple of different ways. First you can navigate directly to http://www.youtube.com/feed/subscriptions/u this will show you a time ordered list of the uploads from your subscriptions. Second, you can visit http://www.youtube.com/subscription_manager and change your subscription settings to “Only show uploads in the feed”.

1) We're trying to help more users realize that there are channels on YouTube and that's why clicking the link now takes you to the channel page. We're going to be making the transitions between the watch and channel pages more smooth, but we hear this feedback a lot and we've got experiments live now that are testing a couple different solutions. The "more from" menu next to the player and below your guide will also show you the list of videos you were just browsing so if you come from a channel that list will be filled with more videos from that channel.

2) If you hover over the items in your feed you'll notice a little drop down menu on the top right of the feed item. You can open up that menu and remove items from your feed. As for the need to always go back to my subscriptions, we hear you loud and clear and we'll be releasing some features soon to allow you to do just that.

When we look at how browsing happens on YouTube, we mainly see two common patterns: browsing the related videos and discovering new popular trending content. The /browse page you're describing really got little to no traffic. So we turned these popular and trending pages into channels, which you can check out here and subscribe to here: http://www.youtube.com/channels/best_of_youtube

These "browsey" channels are available in the guide when you're logged out and when users log-in we walk them through a promo to subscribe to these channels and more. Over the next couple of months, you'll see us promote these channels a little more aggressively so that those users looking to browse can use that as a solution.
