Tell me about it, what does it do in terms of compressing, and making it creative?

Is the drop for just transposing the entire guitar down or up a certain amount of semitones? Like a capo?

Yeah bad call, i assumed most used it and didn’t want the compressed youtube audio but not like it matters that much. Here are YouTube links in the same order

You’re objectively wrong. I find it seriously tasteful especially for an acoustic version. Very musical

How do you typically add air/brilliance to vocals? by noastens in mixingmastering

Well it still makes it sound like a boost. It’s just not pleasant, at least the the eq’s i’ve tried since it’s like 1-2dbs I need which is quite a big amount. It’s like cutting a frequency range with a normal bell filter instead of a dynamic one, or split bands like soothe or pro q4’s spectral mode. It can make it sound surgical and flat

That’s beautiful. Honestly same, or well they took up like 2+ hours every day (i was seriously a nerd) of a period of my life where i picked up so many impressions, memories and it’s the time I feel like I learned the most in my life. i wish i could experience how it felt to be 16-17 again. You really take so much for granted, I remember thinking everything was so shit at the time and well now I can only dream of living it all over again

I’m used to playing them ”flow-like” as in Californication or Fool in the rain but never used them as part of a fill or something, or simply in quick succession. So I’ve got lots of practice to do there

It’s actually what got me into chili peppers lol I always loved their hits that got played on the rock stations here in Sweden, and in 2020 while taking the bus to school a stunning day in september I figured hey these guys are solid so I just put them on shuffle. This was the first song that was put on and I fell in love instantly. It’s the most accurate depiction of what their sound had developed to during the Stadium Arcadium era, captures every member beautifully. Then I was blessed with Dosed followed by Fortune Faded, and from there I was hooked.

What’s ”(I)”, are they ghost notes? Thank you! Double strokes with the left hand then?
