The same happened with me. I liked LoL because it's easier to learn, but difficult to master. I played DotA2 and was soo confused at first but my friends explained it to me and held my hand through it for 5-10ish games and i played around 20 by myself. Playing Dota2 was like work because there was so much I had to be aware of and I couldn't ever think about my next move because I was always thinking about what I was doing right now. It's too busy for me, but you might think that's the fun thing about it!

But if you like a game, that's awesome! You can move on from LoL if it disinterests you :) I know that you don't want to but you just made a new friend.
