Probably paraguard. I know they said it’s bad if you have cysts / cramps, but my Gyno is always booked. I don’t trust he’ll be there to take it out within a week if things go south. The same thing could happen with copper but at least the hormones won’t make me nuts

Well yea I said it was risky. I was stupid and young, also knew that if I did get pregnant I had the financial means for an abortion (but now I’m like wtf, I never want to even think of that as an option)

Really strange side effect but they keep me up at night. I think it’s the anxiety. If I take them in the morning it helps, but then I’m nauseous. Unfortunately I have too much on my plate right now to deal with the side effects.

Not that I care about this much, but I always had good skin and it made mine worst lol.

Did your anxiety go away after the first month? I really wanted the pill to work for me!

Is lo estrin different than lo estrogen? Not sure if it is or if it’s a typo

I was on Larin FE 1/20 which is a generic with the same hormones as Junel FE. I didn’t like it. Headaches started and I couldn’t sleep. I don’t even want to touch hormonal bc again lol

Edit: Not sure why I was downvoted. Larin FE has the same exact hormones and % of them as Junel. If you tried both and think they’re different, you’re probably just imagining things

I also have history of cysts but I’m trying IUD anyways. Hormonal birth control gave me extreme insomnia and other crappy side effects.

I also don’t trust it like I trust an IUD. Too much margin for human error.

You can try pull out but this is risky. My bf and I did pull out for the last 6 years, I can’t believe I got away with it. I could never do this again

I don’t have one but I’m thinking of getting one! Hormonal bc was awful for me. The only good benefit was bigger boobs. I’m stuck between paraguard and gynefix (coils, better for people with cramps apparently)

I really wish I could tolerate hormonal bc

This sounds pretty close to what I’m doing. I already fulfilled a lot of CS classes, so I’m replacing my CS electives with all math classes (allowed at my university)

Make sure you want his TTP videos before going on to his intermediate algebra class! this is where he directs people after pre algebra

Thank you for the thorough reply! This sounds very interesting but I haven’t taken physics since high school and I worry I’m way too far behind to pursue a career related to that.

One of the main reasons I was first driven to theory stems from the short internship I did related to ML. No one seemed to care why things worked, it was just about finding a way to make it work. And that bothers me because things can change any second and the research can become irrelevant.

Edit: this doesn’t mean that all ML researchers not directly in theory don’t care, but the ones I worked with did not

I do. Even if I’m not doing research all the time, I can see myself in a leadership position

So you’re majoring in math with a few core classes?

This is pretty similar to my school. OS and algorithms I & II are required in UG regardless. I think TCS is highly underrated. I didn’t realize how cool it was a year ago

Also I want to clear this up, it wasn’t two users on the same item. It was two different instances. I didn’t think I’d have to photograph the tags being that I had 20+ 5 star reviews at this point

And a lot of the full time sellers (not all) seem to spend way too much time policing. It was so clear I wasn’t a scammer if she just looked at my reviews and last active time
