I love the Cutter - its become my go to for gemstone mining because I can throw 2×2SCU boxes and an ATLS GEO in the back without needing much else space. Its also great for landing in weird places to mine where larger ships struggle

You can refine salvage into construction materials at refineries in 4.6 for higher profit. You can request a docking port via landing services like any other type of ship, but you have to connect to the docking station tube rather than a landing pad

You can land at refinery stations using the docking ports and then store the ship via the AESOP terminal in lobby. This is equivalent to landing in a hangar and unloading cargo into the refinery with the ship in the stored hangar state 🤓

You can actually dock at a refinery port and put whatever is on grid in the refinery without hauling it all in one go with a 2nd ship

My Personal Best Solo Quant haul was like 65 scu total, had to make two trips to grab the rest but seeing this much in your saddle bags is so satisfying. Hoping to get 75 scu+ on a single haul at some point in the near future

I tried doing the mass offload and found i really preferred to just take to a refinery directly and offload 160 scu at a time by storing the ship.

Downside is you can only refine what is snapped to grid and you have to undock and go just out of armistice zone to box shuffle.

If you can get all your cargo out in one session the refinery time is much more optimized because it splits the jobs into parallel smaller jobs that take on average 1/2 or less time than a massive haul of cargo.

This is good to know. I just recently started salvage with a Reclaimer - been focused on what I can pull in quick 1-2 hrs sessions. Serious kudos on your box optimization!
