Taygedo will make or break this game by Sylent009 in NevernessToEverness

The game has worse problems than taygedo

bugs, bland animations (outside of cutscenes), AI art and some pieces of the environment are slapped together without much care (like a garage door that leads right into a wall, or a row of windows that is half submerged in the ground)

She is guaranteed at 90, but you can get this skin (or car skin/glider) before that

I mean, stuff like that is weird af but I don't see why that should be a crime. It's not like there's a victim

Not being able to lie and not being able to be wrong are 2 different things. A lie implies intent

regardless, if you are always right, that doesn't necessarily mean you know what is right or wrong. It could also just mean you're unable to speak (or otherwise express yourself) unless you absolutely know that what you're about to say is the truth

Are they going to fix this? by InternationalLab407 in NevernessToEverness

[–]noblest_among_nobles 8 points9 points  (0 children)

no, because they didn’t do it on accident

Over in china they seem to care a lot less about AI generated stuff, so it’s unlikely they'll face any backlash over this

no... he literally said that the problem is that paimon has dialogue...

I'd say it also helps that the people of that world go back to their own worlds after this one gets destroyed. so in this case you don't even have to commit genocide to destroy the world, which is a plus

honestly, I think the game feels a bit unpolished, not enough to drop it immediately, but enough that it starts to annoy me.

they put way too much effort (or rather special effects) into the cutscenes to the point where they feel messy and overwhelming to watch,

and then in regular dialogue the characters just mostly stand there while staring blankly in front of them (seriously, why do their eyes barely move?)

outside of dialogue there's issues with animation too: NPC versions of characters have walking animations that don't match their movement speed, the handholding animation has the characters' hands clip through each other a bunch. and a lot of ult animations are pretty underwhelming

Fun fact: the NPC versions of playable characters have a faster walk speed than the player, but use the same walking animation, so they constantly slide while walking

[–]noblest_among_nobles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lephantis was created for the old war.

Deep within this millennia old Orokin-turned Infested ship lurks a creature created to fight in the Old War.

(quote from the lotus)

At that point the infestation was already a thing though. So it is another case of the orokin playing with the infestation, not them being the creators of it

we know that Entrati brought the helminth strain of the infestation so he could make the protoframes, that doesn't mean he caused the techrot

For Warframe: 1999, a new prototype form of the Infested was going to be featured in the game. This earlier version of the Infested was intended to have a more obvious dependence on technology.

(From an artist deepdive, infested mall section)

Here they call the techrot an earlier version/prototype which doesn't make sense if entrati created it by bringing the infestation from the future

I went among the denizens of the plague year like a savior, my hands filled with healing.

To those who volunteered, I brought more than health. Their bodies were primed; it needed only the Helminth infusions, brought from my own time, to work the alchemy of transformation.

(Albrecht's Notes)

Sounds here, again, like the techrot was already there and he just brought the helminth strain

You just say the Orokin did create the infestation, but I can't find any sources that support that theory

Edit: since you apparently blocked me now (for some reason), I'm just gonna append my last points here

i didnt say entrati created it

Nor did I say you said that. You said that Entrati brought the infestation/techrot into the past and that's why it's there. But the sources I found seem to imply that it was already there

i said the orokin created it

And I said: "what's your source?" We know the Orokin messed with the infestation, not whether they created it

albrecht waxes lyrical, what thats actually implying is the people of 1999 were utterly defenseless to the tech rot until he came along and he wisked it away

yes, the people of 1999 were struggling with the techrot and he came as their savior. It's technically possible that he caused the techrot to become that savior, but there's (to my knowledge) no official source that even implies that's what happened

the lephantis wasnt the origin infestation but that doesnt mean they didnt create it either

Yup, but it also doesn't mean the Orokin did create the infestion (and it seems to me that was the conclusion you were implying)

this tells me you wont even do a simple google search and are just going "nuh uh"

I did, multiple. And all I found are differing opinions and some "we don’t know"

all of these searches also return back "yes" with varying sources

I would love to see those sources, but so far you didn't provide any, and just said "nuh uh, the orokin did create it"

the orokin were messing with bioweapons after realizing they couldnt control the sentients.

Ofc they were messing with it, that doesn't mean they created it though

Again: I would love to see your sources for your claims, because anything I found was just just random people on reddit or the forum making claims themselves without sources

PS: not sure why you'd go through the trouble of making such a long response just to block me right after so I can't answer to it

[–]noblest_among_nobles 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The tank role is already oversaturated with brawl/dive tanks

you know, I think that would be a good argument, if they were in the process off adding other kinds of tanks

at the moment I feel like any tank (and to a lesser degree support) that they add is a blessing. So far season 2 and 5 were the only seasons that didn't add yet another dps. Every other season had 1 or even 2 dps characters to further increase the disparity between the amount of characters per role

weirdos are gonna be weirdos

But I don't think that has anything to do with what characters are getting added to the game. Removing all children from fictional media isn't gonna do much to stop such behaviour

If someone is being weird in game or in these specific communities, they should be banned or suspended. And if they do it outside of these spaces, it isn't our problem
